Been going to this place for years but the level of service has progressively gotten way worse. Sent my daughter to swimming lessons and they kept her at the same level for a very long time. No response to feedback - can't wait to get out of this place!
It's a nice looking gym. However, my problem is that it is way too busy. You really have to go at certain times to be able to use some equipment. The last time I went, I couldn't get a parking spot, and people were parked against the curb. For $130 per month, it doesn't make sense, and they are not open 24 hours.
Nice club. Good kids programs, especially, summer camps. People are nice and friendly and working hard to keep them t clean.
The classes for adults are overbooked and, I feel, it’s not enough of them. And classes for kids are less professional since I first came.
Definitely not my favorite Lifetime location. We live pretty much right between this location and New Hope, and I like the small cheaper new-hope location better. This location is theoretically much nicer than the New Hope one, so I would prefer to go here (since I am paying for it), but it's so busy that it doesn't really matter. The weight floor needs to be at least double the size at this location.
Also, a large portion of the patrons here on any given day are high-school-aged boys who just kind of wander around getting in everyone else's way. I assume parents just drop their kids off here to keep them busy, but as a working professional and parent I have a very limited amount of time to get a workout in, and they make it much harder to get on benches, racks, machines, etc.
4 stars because its still lifetime and way better than LA or anything else around.
This is a pretty busy location. The lifetime amenities are great. Love the studio classes.
Downside is the life café with poor quality and service. I don’t recommend the food at all. Also, the locker rooms are not very clean with toilet paper, hair on the floor or wet spots.
Place is busy as busy can be. On top of that the trainees have classes in the lifting area to take up more space and equipment. Good luck using an alpha rack when the trainers have them all in use during peak hours
New to the club, I was so excited and then I realized I can't even listen to my own music over the non stop open air classes blasting music, thought I could do a work call from a spin bike but it was way too loud, I tried to lunge and got yelled at by some gal hosting a class during the busiest time. I'm all for classes but not when they impact those not in that class in any way. Do something about it...like cap the volume, just respect those not in the class
Per the Response..today i was there 8-10:15.....it was happening from the squat racks and at least 2 in a row HIT classes right by the stretching area...it's more than just one teacher ...it's all the teachers from what I've seen. The basketball court dance class music was extremely loud too and you could hear it all the way to check in
This location has a great use of the indoor and outdoor pools, but the weight floor is for lack of better words: trash. The free weights are missing all 2.5 weight plates, they only have a handful of other weight plates in stock leading to wait times for equipment, and the layout isn't ideal for an efficient workout. I would recommend Crosstown in Eden Prairie, Highland Park in downtown St. Paul, and Bloomington south as alternative Lifetime locations.
